JOSH HARRISON

CPA/ABV, CFE, CFA

Josh graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Accounting. He holds the following professional credentials:

Josh has over twenty years of experience advising clients on complex financial, accounting, and valuation issues in the contexts of mergers and acquisitions; litigation and other disputes; and corporate finance and strategy.

He frequently advises lawyers and clients involved in complex litigation. He has provided expert testimony in state and federal court, bankruptcy court, and in arbitration, and has been qualified as an expert in the areas of economic damages, business valuation, solvency, fraud investigations, and financial due diligence.

Josh has extensive expertise in business valuation and transaction advisory services. He has completed valuation assignments across a multitude of industries, for purposes of financial reporting, transaction support, buy/sell agreements, gift and estate taxes, and strategic planning and other decision support. Mr. Harrison also assists buyers and sellers with financial due diligence and quality of earnings assessments in connection with evaluating potential business transactions.

Prior to founding Harrison Advisory, Josh led the Business Advisory practice at Intrinsic, a Denver-based valuation and financial advisory services firm. Previously, he worked for the “Big 4” accounting firms Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as another top tier national CPA firm.

He is an occasional guest speaker on business valuation and litigation matters. Recent presentations include the ASA National Business Valuation Conference, Turnaround Management Association, Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and Association for Corporate Counsel.

Dave graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Accounting & Finance and the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Master of Business Administration. He holds the following professional credentials:

DAVE VORLAGE

CPA, MBA

Dave has over 20 years of accounting, finance, and operations experience in audit, consulting, and in industry. He began his career as an auditor and later as a financial due diligence consultant with Ernst & Young, and then migrated to industry, progressing in roles from controller to CFO and CEO before returning to his consulting roots in 2017. In addition to buy and sell-side M&A due diligence, Dave has experience in post-M&A integration, system migration, capital markets, debt & equity fundraising, financial modeling, and investor relations across many industries

Dave joined H-Advisory as a partner in 2022 and is focused on business and practice development.

Dave moved from Denver to Boulder in 2021, with his three school-aged boys. Dave is a native of Boulder, graduating from Boulder High School in 1993, followed by degrees in Accounting and Finance from Baylor University and an MBA from CU Boulder.
